something different

I did a human portrait after a long time on request of a old school friend. I stopped painting it at a stage that I preferred as being completed. But based on comments, I came out with this final stage, which looks nice too. This painting is quite a quick work. Hope you enjoy !

Poster- Endemic Birds of Sri Lanka

I illustrated this poster which was published by the Wildlife Trust, Sri Lanka in September, 2012. It covers all the 33 species of endemics that are depicted in 42 illustrations.

Working on Endemic Bird poster

I could complete the 42 paintings illustrated for the coming ' Endemic Birds of Sri Lanka' poster, last week. Look forward to help the publishers with the design & layout in coming weeks.
At the same time I'll happily start the commissioned painting of Ceylon Spurfowl to be sent to the UK.
